Clients

My clients include international and industrial corporations. My portfolio ranges from steel, services and sustainability, to beer, books and beauty.

Tata Steel
I’ve been working for this international company since 2000, so we’ve seen a lot of changes together. It started with the production of a quarterly employee magazine in six languages. This evolved into a monthly online bulletin, containing competitor analysis and essential updates for the company’s top 400 European managers.
Along the way I’ve helped this long-standing client with rebranding support, videos, internal awards, leadership updates, customer newsletters and exhibition materials. Superscript also created three CSR reports for the global Tata Steel Group. I’ve produced syndicated features and case studies for site newspapers. Right now I’m working with Tata Steel in the Netherlands, providing editing support, news digests and case studies.

Carillion
This leading UK integrated support services company continues to grow and so does my work for it. It’s a fascinating business. Carillion is behind so many aspects of our daily life, from school dinners to defence, healthcare to highways. Big projects for me have included annual reviews of its activities in the defence sector, the relaunch of its company values in 2015, and editing the new corporate website (2016). I work as a contributor/editor on employee e-newsletters and leadership communications and have helped to devise internal campaigns to build engagement with strategy, surveys and charity initiatives. Recently I’ve been developing a new range of marketing collateral for one of their busiest divisions.

Marston’s
No. I’ve never organised anything for this brewery client, but I’ve been enjoying my work for this friendly organisation. It started with some bright, upbeat employee communications during a relocation. Currently I am editing their weekly online news update for employees and a monthly team newsletter. Occasionally we have to have meetings in a pub.

British Fluid Power Association
It’s the power behind manufacturing. This industry association represents manufacturers and distributors of pneumatic, hydraulic and motion control equipment. In 2016 I wrote their new membership pack and exhibition materials.

Smart Beauty
This creative, colourful hair products client had a dynamic new product. How to sell it to a big retailer? How to present it to consumers? What about the packaging and the instructions? I helped them think through every aspect of the launch communications, every step of the way.

Chipping Norton Literary Festival
This is the “best little literary festival in Britain” according to one of the visiting authors. They love ChipLitFest and so does our enthusiastic committee. Since 2015, I’ve been helping out with compiling and editing the Festival programme. This year I was website and Facebook editor and, even more fun – blogger.

CarillionAmey
In 2014, this new joint venture won £4.5 billion of contracts to look after defence property and accommodation for the UK’s forces. As a new, public-facing organisation, it needed a fresh face and well-thought through branding. I worked with designer David Baker to develop comprehensive brand guidelines.

Carillion telent
Carillion telent is delivering broadband for BT Openreach and aims to be the UK’s leading network installation business. It’s a fast-moving business and I supported them in managing change.

Superscript past clients include: Mars, EEDA, Corus, Lafarge, and Archivist cards.
